PUPPY GROOMS
Puppy grooms are an essential first step in setting your dog up for a lifetime of successful grooming. These early appointments focus on gentle introduction and positive experiences rather than achieving a perfect haircut.
During a puppy’s first visits, they are gradually introduced to the sights, sounds, and handling involved in grooming such as bathing, drying, brushing, nail care, and light trimming. This helps build confidence and reduces fear, stress, and reactivity as they grow.
Starting grooming early and maintaining a consistent schedule allows puppies to become comfortable with the process, making future grooms safer, less stressful, and more efficient for both the dog and groomer.
Includes:
✨ Gentle shampoo and conditioning
✨ Hand drying (with comfort and tolerance in mind)
✨ Light brush out
✨ Nail trimming and/or dremeling
✨ Introductory trimming of the face, feet, and hygiene areas (as tolerated)
✨ Positive, low-stress handling throughout
Please note: Puppy grooms are focused on training and comfort.
Pricing is determined by breed, age, size, coat type, coat condition, and behavior at the time of the appointment.
THE PUPPY PROGRAM
The Puppy Program saves you money AND gets your puppy used to the grooming process! After each visit, your puppy will get a "report card" of his or her grooming glows and grows, that way you know what needs to be worked on at home to make the next visit even more successful than the last.
You will also receive information on the proper tools and grooming maintenance specific to your puppy's breed and/or coat type.
Once your puppy graduates form the program, he or she will receive a certificate of completion and a goodie bag!
✨ Offered to puppies between 3-5 months of age
✨ Must have at least 2nd set of booster shots complete
✨ Prepaid program consisting of at least three 30-45 minute grooming sessions consisting of introduction to equipment, sounds, sights, smells of the salon and table time practice, nail trim, bath, brush out, bandana or bowtie
